E4500 question for Disk board

有一台 sun enterprise 4500\r\n插了兩張 disk board在 slot 3跟5\r\n共四棵 9G HDD\r\n但是在 ok mode下 probe-scsi 或 probe-scsi-all\r\n只看到 cdrom ,抓不到 HDD\r\n我查看 e4500的 installation guide\r\n裡頭說到最後一張 disk board的 scsi out接頭要插上 terminator\r\n可我試了各種組合都一樣抓不到硬盤(HDD)\r\n請問這要如何解決\r\n\r\nP.S. e4500的背後插了兩張 IO board在 slot 1 與 slot 7\r\n       Disk board 在 slot 3跟 slot 5

雖然我覺得這樣很怪  \r\nSun 居然不把 connector 做在裡頭\r\n所以我是把插在 slot 1上的 IO Board上中間的那個 SCSI接口\r\n串到 slot 3的 disk board 上的 SCSI IN 接頭\r\n再把 slot 3的 disk board 上的 SCSI OUT 接頭\r\n串到 slot 5的 disk board 上的 SCSI IN 接頭\r\n再把 slot 5的 disk board 上的 SCSI OUT 接頭接上 terminator\r\n不過這樣還是不行,還是接法有誤?\r\n這樣接法  使的我在 ok mode下 probe-scsi 都沒有反應\r\n\r\n請問 disk board 上的 SCSI 接頭是標準的 SCSI接頭\r\n還是 differential 的??  \r\n如果是 differential 的話,那我的 termanator就要換了

剛在 SUN 的網站上看到的\r\n\r\nProblem Statement\r\n\r\nUnable to access or see the Enterprise Server 4500/5500/6500 internal disks that are resident on the disk board with probe-scsi-all, usually upon board installation or after a server is relocated or reconfigured. \r\n\r\nResolution \r\n\r\nThis is most often because the external scsi cable that is required to connect the I/O board onboard scsi port to the disk board has not been installed by the end user. \r\n\r\nAnother common reason is that a Differential terminator has been installed on the disk board in error and the disk board is then not terminated properly. \r\n\r\nThe terminator provided with each IO board (HD68, Single Ended, Fast Wide terminator, part number 150-2267) must be used to terminate the disk board. \r\n\r\n照上面的說法,disk board應該是接在 IO board上最左邊的\r\n那個 differential SCSI 接頭囉,而且terminator也要是differential的???
