you need to do more diagnosis:\r\n\r\n1. after you issue \'telnet ip_adr\' on another system, have you seen that session established via \'netstat -a\'?\r\n2. if the session has established, is in.telnetd forked? (you can check it from the console)\r\n3. if 2 is true, you can try to truss the in.telnetd process\r\n\r\nDo you have any abnormal information in /var/adm/messages or abnormal information in your root\'s mail box?
