with Solaris  i don\'t use admintool to add user always ,because i hardly can remember all the options for useradd command, my manual step to add a user as following :\r\n1. edit /etc/passwd \r\nusually i add at last line , with uid increase by 1 . \r\n2. edit /etc/shadow  \r\nadd one line  \" userid:*:::::: \"   \r\n3. mkdir /export/home/userid\r\n4. cp /etc/skel/\r\nlocal.profile  local.cshrc   to ~userid/ as .profile or .cshrc \r\n5 . cd /export/home ;chown -R userid:usergroup userid \r\n6 .passwd userid
