P650 AIX 5 网卡配置出问题

I have the same case today !

Before the configuration, the device status is avaliable , when I want to configurate the device, the output shows failure. After that, I removed the device, and reconfig the device with cfgmgr -v, the status changed to Defined, even I tried to run : mkdev -l en? to enable the device , it didn't work.
I have more then one same type NIC in a system, other adapter can work properly.  I run a diagnostic to check the device, it prompts : 25C1-103 Enhanced Error handling failure while testing adapter.

I think the problem may be comes from the adapter, I called the IBM CE to replace it, after that, it works .

你的步骤好象错了：


“通过smit->;Communications Applications and Services->;TCP/IP->;Minimum Configuration & Startup->; 选择 en1  ”

这一步好象是配置第一张网卡时的选项，你选择另一个选项是一是：

smitty tcpip
->;further XXXXX ->;network interfaces

或者用    ifconfig 是一是：

ifconfig en1 inet xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx netmask xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx up

我遇到过这个问题 状态是可用的 但是就是配不了ip地址
先用diag查一下啊
我把卡的位置换了一个 问题就解决了
