How to keep logon profile when change domain

When we change machine from one domain to the other, how to keep the logon profile of users?

No way except you back all you personal setting file and copy back to the accroding dir after you re-entering the original domain.

If this is laptop and I don\'t want to set up roaming profile, I prefer to use local profile. where can I set up the path of profile?\r\n\r\nActually, I set up the same user name and leave the profile path in Active Diretory blank,  then rename the profile in the \"Documents and Settings\" from mytest.domain1 to mytest.domain2 (or replace the mytest.domain2), then it seems I can use the same \"my documents\" and something else, but I have problem with openning  outlook (Exchange setting) , I have to give the user adminstrator right to open it ! Why?

Suppose that you have 3 account which have same logon name  \'usera\' , one is local administrator account, the second is user in domain A, the last is user in domain B. \r\n1.  In general, local user\'s profile path is \'C:\\Documents and Settings\\usera\' ,  grant \'full control\' right to user in domain A & B on this directory.\r\n2. In domain A, set the usera\' profile path (domain account)  to \'C:\\Documents and Settings\\winn\' by \'Active directory User and Computer\'\r\n3.  Set the profile path in domain B just like in domain A.
