Job Title
     Sr. Field Application Engineer
Department Name         Sales

Job Responsibilities
   Successful candidate will report to a local Technical Sales Team leader and will have three main functions.  One will be to collaborate with local Sales to support customers: assist and support custom designs via proposals, review of designs and firmware tuning.  The second main function will be to assist in troubleshooting of technical issues particularly when the custom touch modules are integrated into the customer device.  The third main function is to be an evangelist for new platform related activity.  This would involve learning of the new technology, identifying the best customers in region to be alpha or beta product partners and rolling out the new platform to the region.  Technical challenges include understanding of materials such as glass and PET and alternate materials that can be used for capacitive sensor design, understanding FPCB design and manufacturing, design for manufacturability and assembly, and negotiating technical specifications with customers a!
nd partners.  Other challenges will evolve around the main tool for supporting product development, Design Studio, involving the tuning of firmware for the customer.  Some typical job functions include:

o Preparation of demo systems to showcase current and new technologies
o Work with Sales to understand customer application requirements
o Work with mechanical and layout engineers to review and suggest optimal configurations for the customers device to install touch
o Analyze customer system requirements and recommend design solutions
o Utilization of tools and resource to provide capacitive touch simulation information to customer for optimized design performance
o Perform product deficiency analysis and recommend corrective actions
o Working with customer to finalize and validate the performance of the final design as installed in the device
o Local customer technical interface for display driver related activity and new product development activity
o Participate in definition of product/design requirements, product evaluation support, and failure analysis for new technologies being prepared by the platform teams.
o Technical support for new business development activities in local region and potentially other regions with similar activity integrated touch development
o Develop knowledge on most recent display and human interface technologies
o Participate and support the activity for integrated solution prototyping, and transfer to production
o Identify new integrated solution opportunities
o Participation in the development of new core building blocks for touch and related human interface solutions

Required Qualifications
o BSEE or MSEE with 5 years analog/digital circuit design experience
o Strong customer communication skills along with internal communication skills
o Strong analog and digital circuit debugging skill
o Experienced in mechanical design review and layout design review
o Understanding of firmware and embedded systems
o Knowledge of driver structure in PC systems
o Understanding of schematics
o Understand PCB/FPC fabrication and assembly manufacturing process
o Familiar with local Senor, PCB, FPC and SMT/COB assembly suppliers
o Strong knowledge of display driver structure desired
o Strong knowledge of touch and other interface devices preferred
o Strong knowledge of materials such as glass, PET and other materials available for development of touch and human interface devices
o Strong verbal and written communication skill in both English and Chinese
o Experience in working with cross functional team to implement system design
o Willing to travel locally and internationally

Job Title         Sales Account Manager
Department Name         300 - Sales

Job Responsibilities

o Develop business opportunities with a Strategic Account
o Account management includes account plan development, contact management strategy, communication strategy development, BU alignment, project milestone review, critical issue escalation and close-loop tactical execution. Initiate customer product road show, set up executive appointment, manage QBR meeting, forecast and backlog related business planning.
o Account plan requires updates at least once a quarter to refresh customer roadmap, organization, contact, challenges, revenue projection and competitors’ progress. Measurement is to identify every opportunity prior to competitors thru exemplary customer partnership.
o Contact management: Develop contact and executive coverage plan to have broader customer contact. It should at least include key account sales for LCM, ID, engineers, product manager, marketing, procurement, quality and executives in business units that are relevant to our touch IC products.  Accountable for communicating company value proposition in every identified contact.
o Communication strategy: Communicate customer expectation and requirement crystal clear to Business Unit thru sales tools and related internal stakeholders. Collect feedback from internal stakeholders to create collaborative wisdom message draft. After proper approval, send message back to set accurate customer expectation.
o    BU alignment: Provide weekly comprehensive customer status report and set up weekly call to close-loop every open issue.
o Project milestone review, critical issue escalation and close-loop tactical execution: Identify impacts, critical path and challenge for success, plug key dates and action plan to internal system and tactically execute improvement plan to close-loop every issue.
o Executive appointment: Leverage company executive visits and major exhibition event to create executive appointments.
o QBR: Participate in QBR to identify gaps among Cost, Technology, Market Trend, Quality and fulfilment category; Initiate and execute continuous improvement plan tactically.
o Competitor tracking: Real time provision of competitors’ information / samples
o Contract management: Manage contractual gaps for successful contract signing
o Provide weekly customer summary and proactively report critical issues to internal customers
o Incidents management: Collect feedback, identify potential impacts and escalate timely

Required Qualifications

o Minimum 10 years of sales experience with LCM customers and China mobile OEM account with proven track record
Bachelor or Master degree in Electronics Engineering
o Good knowledge of China mobile market
o Strong team work spirit, high integrity and self-driven
o Good written and oral English
o Project management experience is a plus
o Strategize and execute well
o Willing to travel overseas and locally
