Responsibilities:
1.  Providing architecture consulting and authoritative technical guidance to executive leadership, management, and research teams
2.  Leading collaborative, technical efforts to design cloud-based platform solutions and resolve high-profile issues
3.  Defining deployment architectures for multi-tenant cloud platforms and vertical architectures for end-to-end and robotic systems
4.  Developing best practices for server implementation and deployment, performance evaluation, and storage architecture
5.  Developing cloud based technology strategies and execution plans

Requirements:
1.  PhD in computer science or related fields with over 7 years of work experience building resilient platforms and integration
2.  Excellent analytical skills in performance evaluation, parallel computing and computational complexity analysis
3.  Deep Knowledge about all-stack Internet protocols, particularly HTTP and TCP
4.  Experience in architectural design and implementation of highly scalable and available solutions using PaaS and other cloud technologies
5.  Experience with VMware ESXi/Workstation, XenServer, KVM and other hypervisors
6.  Experience with virtualization of infrastructure services, such as storage, server, network and VM image management
7.  Experience with web application development using both relational and NoSQL database, modern application servers and front-end technologies such as AJAX and HTML5
8.  Knowledge of latest technologies in robotics, such as 2D/3D SLAM, data fusion, automation and control
9.  Communication skills and ability to document architectural standards and decisions

Preferred Knowledge:
1.  Upcoming standards such as WebRTC, HTML5, Map3D etc
2.  Personal insights into robotics, personal computing device and consumer electronics industry

2.  Good Knowledge about all-stack Internet protocols, particularly HTTP and TCP
3.  Experience in architectural design and implementation of highly scalable and available solutions using PaaS and other cloud technologies
4.  Excellent C/C++/Java programming skills
5.  Hands-on Python, Ruby or other scripting languages
6.  Hands-on UNIX/Linux system administration experience from hardware up
7.  Experience with VM image format and image management
8.  Experience managing large scale distributed cloud computing environments or hosting services
9.  Experience with virtualization of infrastructure services, such as storage, server, network and VM image management
10.       Communication skills and ability of technical documentation

Preferred Knowledge:
1.  Knowledge of latest technologies in robotics, such as 2D/3D SLAM, data fusion, automation and control
