Job Title:   Product R&D Project Manager

PURPOSE OF JOB:   
Describe the overall nature and purpose of the job as it exists today.  
To be the R&D manager in charge of HW and Platform SW development. Reporting to Main Project manager in execution phase, and lead the concept study project team in Vision/Concept study phase.
  
TOP FIVE RESPONSIBILITIES:        
     % of Time Spent    List the five major accountabilities (over 10% of the incumbent’s time).  If this is a re-evaluation, provide key changes to the job.
1.        R&D Project Planning including HW and platform SW development activities.
2.        CoS management in R&D project scope
3.        Be responsible to mange R&D project to meet all the regulatory requirements and Product quality KPI.  
4.        Secure quality and efficiency of projects customization. Be part of PPMO management team, participant strategy and operation work.
  
FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES:      
     List the Functional Competencies required for performing this job and link to PM Tool.
1.    Above 5+ year Project management experience in R&D related area.
2.    8 years working experience in R&D, hardware, software development and relevant mobile phone industry.  
3.    Multinational working experience is a plus.  
4.    Bachelor degree or above
  
Other     
Good understanding of mobile communication technology and engineering working methodology
Fluent English is must
