怎樣才能在WinXP下使用WebSM來管理AIX?
在客户端/服务器模式下可以采用如下步骤配置基于Web的系统管理器(WebSM):
.安装Web服务器
.测试Web服务器
.安装WebSM
.确定Web服务器文档的路径
.使WebSM服务器生效
.从浏览器访问WebSM
1.安装Web服务器
为了安装IBM HTTP服务器，下面的文件集需要被安装，这些文件集可以从Expansion Pack光盘里找到：
http_server.admin 1.3.12.2
http_server.base.rte 1.3.12.2
http_server.base.source 1.3.12.2
把Expansion Pack 光盘放进光驱里，运行如下命令：
smit install_all
Install and Update from ALL Available Software
Type or select a value for the entry field.
Press Enter AFTER making all desired changes.
[Entry Fields]
* INPUT device / directory for software [] +
F1=Help F2=Refresh F3=Cancel F4=List
Esc+5=Reset Esc+6=Command Esc+7=Edit Esc+8=Image
Esc+9=Shell Esc+0=Exit Enter=Do
在空白处输入/dev/cd0，按下回车键继续，
Install and Update from ALL Available Software
Type or select values in entry fields.
Press Enter AFTER making all desired changes.
[Entry Fields]
* INPUT device / directory for software /dev/cd0
* SOFTWARE to install [] +
PREVIEW only? (install operation will NOT occur) no +
COMMIT software updates? yes +
SAVE replaced files? no +
AUTOMATICALLY install requisite software? yes +
EXTEND file systems if space needed? yes +
OVERWRITE same or newer versions? no +
VERIFY install and check file sizes? no +
DETAILED output? no +
Process multiple volumes? yes +
ACCEPT new license agreements? no +
Preview new LICENSE agreements? no +
F1=Help F2=Refresh F3=Cancel F4=List
Esc+5=Reset Esc+6=Command Esc+7=Edit Esc+8=Image
Esc+9=Shell Esc+0=Exit Enter=Do
选择上面提到的文件集后，按下回车键进行安装。
注意：安装文件集IMNSearch.rte.httpdlite获得的Httpdlite Web服务器将不再工作，Httpdlite服务网页只到系统控制台，请注释掉
/etc/inittab 文件里httpdlite对应行并找到它对应的进程ID杀死它：
#ps -ef |grep httpd
找到 httpdlite 的进程号，运行下面命令：
#kill -9 pid
想要查看是否还有web服务器在运行，请输入命令：
#ps -ef | grep httpd
如果它们没有在运行而且你想要使用IBM HTTP服务器,请执行如下命令：
#/usr/HTTPServer/bin/httpd &
2.测试Web服务器
想要测试Web服务器，打开一个浏览器并且访问下面的URL：
http://服务器的IP地址/
这将到达他们的Web服务器的主页。
3.安装 WebSM
下面的文件集需要从AIX 5.1基本操作系统光盘里安装 ：
sysmgt.help.msg.en_US.websm
sysmgt.help.en_US.websm
sysmgt.msg.en_US.websm.apps
sysmgt.websm.apps
sysmgt.websm.diag
sysmgt.websm.framework
sysmgt.websm.icons
sysmgt.websm.rte
sysmgt.websm.webaccess
把操作系统的第一张光盘放进光驱里，输入如下命令：
#smit install_all
Install and Update from ALL Available Software

4.确定Web服务器文档的路径
客户需要知道他们的Web 服务器文档路径，对于IBM HTTP服务器在1.3.12.2的路径是：
/usr/HTTPServer/htdocs
请运行如下命令：
/usr/websm/bin/wsmappletcfg -docdir
作为一个例子, 对于IBM HTTP 服务器， Web服务器这将是:
/usr/websm/bin/wsmappletcfg -docdir /usr/lpp/HTTPServer/share/htdocs
5. 使WebSM服务器生效
请运行如下命令：
/usr/websm/bin/wsmserver -enable
注意: 使用Smit/Smitty菜单也能够配置WebSM服务器.输入如下命令：
#smitty web_configure
Internet and Documentation Services
Move cursor to desired item and press Enter.
Change / Show Default Browser
Show Documentation and Search Server
Change Documentation and Search Server
Change/Show Default Documentation Language
Web-based System Manager
F1=Help F2=Refresh F3=Cancel Esc+8=Image
Esc+9=Shell Esc+0=Exit Enter=Do
在成功配置后，仍然需要运行下面的命令来使WebSM服务器生效：
/usr/websm/bin/wsmserver -enable
使用IE浏览器的用户需要下载并安装 Java Plugin. 这些信息能够从下面的网址获得：

6.从浏览器访问WebSM
使用下面的URL来访问WebSM:
