We are a foreign start-up based in Nanjing aiming to become the leading provider of social networking services in the country. Our concept within the social networking industry is very solid and provides users with a new level of interaction. Based on the phenomenon of social networking, which has become very popular in the US, our website provides a platform for users to enhance their real life friendship connections.

We are looking to add an exceptionally talented and experienced Senior Programmer to our team. The candidate must have a minimum of 4+ years working experience with at least 2+ years spent building websites in PHP, managing/building databases, and designing algorithms for search optimizations.

Basic Function:
Senior Programmer will join the web development team and will work closely with project manager, programmers and designer to implement features, improve system performance and conduct QA. This job position will be challenged with ongoing feature development and support for a highly visible internet site experiencing a high rate of growth.

Responsibilities:
-Work with project manager and programmers to implement required features
-Design algorithms that improve overall system performance
-Integrate graphic designer code to assist with front-end development
-Work with project manager to resolve bugs/issues

Requirements and Qualifications:
-BS in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field. MS/MBA+ preferred
- 4+ years working experience in related field
- 2+ years working experience developing web applications in PHP  
-Experience with large-scale, distributed, and highly scalable systems is very desirable
-Familiar with the configuration of services on Linux such as Apache, Sendmail, Qmail, DNS, LVS
-Solid understanding of SQL, expert with at least one of MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL, Oracle
-Familiar with Stored Procedure, PL/SQL
-Familiar with the Design Pattern
-Very familiar in algorithm design
-Desire to work in a fast-paced, creative and growing environment
-Must possess a “DO” attitude, taking necessary actions to solve complex problems
-Must possess an infinite interest to work in a team environment (enjoy doing collaborative work/activities)
-Very hard working and determined attitude: able to handle stressful work loads and complete tasks even if it means working until late at night and/or during weekends
-English written and oral proficiency is a must

This job position might require the employee to live and work with the team, and is not a 9 to 6 job. If you are looking for a stable 9 to 6 job at a big company, this isn’t the job for you. 职责：
与项目经理和程序员合作实现并完善必须的网站功能
为提高系统整体性能进行算法设计
整合界面设计与后台程序
与项目经理合作解决并修复网站缺陷与漏洞

职位要求与条件：
-计算机，信息科技及相关专业学士，优先考虑硕士或MBA学历以上人士
-4年及以上相关专业领域工作经验
-2年及以上PHP网络应用程序开发经验
-有大规模、分布式、可扩展系统管理经验者尤佳
-熟悉在Linux平台上的服务配置例如Apache, Sendmail, Qmail, DNS, LVS.
-扎实的SQL知识，至少精通MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL, Oracle其中任何一种数据库
-熟悉存储过程，PL/SQL， Stored Procedure
-熟悉设计模式 Design Pattern
-非常熟悉算法设计
-愿意在一个快节奏，富有创造力，正处于发展期的环境中工作
-一定要有“实干”的精神，能够采取必要措施来解决疑难问题。
-一定要有在团队环境中工作的无限热情（乐于帮助同事并且善于合作）
-工作勤奋意志坚定：能够应对高强度的工作压力，能够在深夜与/或周末加班完成任务
-必须具有高效率的英语写作和口述能力
