Senior Software Engineer PayPal
Job Location: Shanghai, China
Design and develop novel data driven solutions that have potential to deliver game changing results.
• Research data analysis methodologies and tools. Innovate for computer system solutions to meet data analysis requirements.
• Design and implement solutions, in fast iterations from prototype to production release to large scales.
• Analyze data that flows in the solutions as it is key part of the solutions.
• Keep acquiring knowledge from business, to build insights and apply solutions. Incorporate business feedbacks to solutions. Stick ideas to business needs.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of industrial experience or post-college academic experience, in computer science/engineering.
• Good programming capabilities in Java and at least one scripting language.
• Experiences in open source systems and tools including Linux, Git, Hadoop, etc.
• Experiences in data analysis, big data processing, and machine learning – a significant advantage.
• Experiences in design tools and solutions for data analysis and visualization – an advantage.
• Experiences in financial services, payment systems, and risk management – an advantage.
• Innovative, passionate, and team working. Start-up spirited!
• Good communication skills in English.
Education
BSCS or BSEE or Other Related 4yr Technical Degree |
