1.        Job Title: Sr. Software Engineer in Test
Location: Shanghai

Description:
In the position, the candidate will be responsible for creating and executing the test suite/cases, test tools, and automation system to assure the quality of software platforms, which cover components from low level boot-loader, device driver, OS, middleware (multimedia and graphics), and up to high level application framework (like Android), and Marvell proprietary compiler/debugger/performance tools.

His/her responsibilities will include but not be limited to
- Identify the functionality, stability, performance and power quality criteria for the whole system or individual components;
- Execute test suites to reach defined test coverage and debugging requirement.

The candidate should possess a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science with relevant experiences, or Master of Science degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science with relevant experience, or equivalent.

The candidate is expected to have below extra qualifications:
- Programming skill in C, C++ and scripting language, i.e. Perl, python, is a must.
- Knowledge or working experience in projects similar to above projects is preferred.
-Experience in general embedded software development/debugging/validation and its automation is a plus.
-Leadership experience in either software validation or development is a plus.
-Technical influence and interpersonal influence experience in multi-national company is a must. (English and Mandarin)

2.        Job Title: Software Test Engineer
Location: Shanghai

Job Description:
System software test engineer to work on WLAN, Bluetooth, NFC and Wi-Fi Display on smart phone/tablet platform.
1) Develop WLAN, Bluetooth and NFC Auto and manual test cases on smart phone/tablet platform.
2) WLAN, Bluetooth and NFC User experience, Function, Stability, Power and performance test and analysis on smart phone/tablet platform.
3) QUALITY Assessment  and assurance for WLAN, Bluetooth NFC and Wi-Fi Display features on each APSE release.

Qualifications:
1) Bachelor in EE, CS or equivalent is required
2) 2+ year relevant Android/Linux/smart phone/tablet platform test experience is required
3) Fluent in English (read and write) is required
4) Experience with C, JAVA programming and debugging is required
5) Knowledge of Wlan/Bluetooth/NFC is required
6) Knowledge of Linux kernel/driver development is preferred
7) Knowledge of mobile hardware architecture is preferred

3.        Job Title: Wifi/BT/NFC Software Engineer
Location: Shanghai/Nanjing

Job Description:
Senior software engineer to work on WLAN, Bluetooth and NFC software development and platform integration for APSE
1) Develop WiFi (IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n), Bluetooth and NFC middleware/application on Android platform.
2) Optimize power consumption and performance of WiFi, Bluetooth and NFC subsystems on Android platform.
3) Develop Android GUI, framework and applications to enable new use cases of WiFi, Bluetooth and NFC connectivity features.
4) Support customer porting/debugging remotely or onsite as needed.
5) Creative innovation based on WLAN, Bluetooth and NFC

Qualifications:
1) MS in EE, CS or equivalent is required
2) 5+ year relevant Android/Linux development and debugging experience is required
3) Fluent in English (oral/listen/read/write) is required
4) Experience with C, JAVA programming and debugging is required
5) Knowledge of TCP/IP and socket programming is required
6) Knowledge of WiFi/Bluetooth/NFC is required
7) Experience of Linux kernel and driver development is preferred
Knowledge of mobile hardware architecture is preferred

4.        Job Title: CPU Software Engineer - Android VM, Browser and System
Location: Shanghai

Job Description:
The work includes software design/development of following projects for Marvell CPUs:
- Solution of optimized Java VM in Android (Dalvik and ART);
- Solution of optimized Android system including Linux for best UI and stystem performance;
- Solution of optimized browsers for Android;
- Solution of profiling and tracing tools for VM/system performance analysis

Qualifications and Responsibilities:
- BS/MS/PhD in electronic engineering/computer science (or equivalent).
- Strong advanced low power CPU, memory controller and system bus
  architecture/micro-architecture knowledge.
- Strong C/C++ programming skills, and/or Java programming skills.
- Research or working experience in any relevant projects described above.
- Knowledge of ARM architecture, profiling and optimization is a great advantage.
- Cooperative team player with good communication and teamwork skill.
- Fluent communication in both Chinese and English is an advantage.

5.        Job Title: Telephony QA/Performance Engineer
Location: Shanghai

Responsibilities:
Marvell is looking for a software engineer for telephony QA and performance optimization.
It will be responsible for Marvell telephony stack quality assurance, including design/patch review, test case/tool development, performance analysis/optimization, customer issue analysis and others.
This position needs a good technical/programming and quick learning capability to handle the task in design/code review, issue analysis etc.

Qualifications:
1) Typically requires a BS (CS or EE) degree and 5 years of experience or an MS (CS or EE) degree and 3 years experience
2) Experience with telephony service, 3GPP protocol, AP/CP communication development/validation is preferred.
3) Experience in C/C++/JAVA programming is required.
4) Experience in Linux/Android shell/tools development is desirable
5) Telephony related Performance analysis experience is desirable.
6) Good in communication and team work.
 
6.        Job Title: System Design Engineer – Hardware Oriented
Location: Shanghai

Job Description:
Responsible for hardware related tasks, including but not limited to components selection, hardware schematic design, layout review, board build, debug and system validation. Work closely with customer and third parties. Evaluate solution from third parties and support customer to complete design. Complete system level validation and develop automation test tools.

Job Responsibilities:
- Complete schematic for reference design.
- Responsible for EVK build, bring up and debug.
- Developing automation testing tools for system level validation.
- Complete the system level validation, write documents and test reports.
- Customer schematic and layout review.
- Customer board bring up, debug supporting.

Job Qualification:
- MSEE required.
- Experience in hardware board design including schematics design, layout review, new design bring up and system debug.
- Experience of ASM, C, C++ programming and C-coding skills.
- Experience of Python programming is a plus.
- Experience of Java programming experience is a plus
- Experience of Windows programming is a big plus.
- Ability to work in a multi-tasking, fast pace and team oriented working environment.
- Good English reading/writing/speaking skill.

7.        Job Title: Firmware Engineer
Location: Shanghai

Job Description:
This is an entry level, firmware engineering oriented system engineer position. The engineer will be part of the vertical system engineering team composed with hardware engineering, software engineering, firmware engineering, FPGA design engineering, signal integrity engineering, and others. The IC products to work with include Ethernet PHY/NIC/Switch/SoC, high speed SerDes based PHYs, DTV front end components, PLC PHYs, and so on. System engineering team is responsible for many post silicon engineering efforts like product validation, platform development, collateral development, technical support and so on.

Job Responsibilities:
- Boot Code Development.
- BSP Development.
- API Driver Suite Development.
- Protocol Stack Firmware Development.
- Application Level Firmware Development.
- Technical Support to Customers.

Job Qualification:
- BS/MS in EE/CE/CS.
- Must have good program skill.
- Must be familiar with embedded system.
- Must have good knowledge with computer system and data network system.
- Must be willing to work in a multi-tasking, fast pace, team oriented working environment.
- Must be able to quickly absorb different kinds of knowledge and apply them in the works.
- Working experience on firmware/software development are preferred.
- Familiarity with Ethernet and network protocols are some pluses.
