GENERAL SUMMARY
Supervises the technical support group focusing on Remote Proactive supported products in EMC, providing management, resolution and communication as appropriate.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervises the activities of the Remote Proactive team for providing remote support in resolving customer issues when problems have been escalated and the first line product support in the field has failed to identify or fix equipment or software issues.
Accountable for operational results in terms of group and department performance standards/metrics, customer satisfaction and budget/expenses.
Manager the daily collaborations with other product teams to achieve customer satisfaction
Requires complete fundamental knowledge and awareness of organizational goals and objectives and manage the team to achieve the goals.
Manage the daily escalations related to Remote Proactive products and engages the proper resource if necessary. Ensures that all issues are escalated in accordance with policy and procedures.
Manage the team trainings and individual career development to help people to achieve success career in EMC.
Collaborates with other managers, internally and occasionally externally, to influence and ensure that assigned technical support area is meeting internal and external needs.
Accountable for scheduling, work plans, technical direction, staffing, and performance management/development of employees in assigned areas.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
