请问怎么从AIX mount到一个Linux的samba server?

如题，我尝试了如下命令但是都失败了。  这个samba server 放在linux 上面，可以从windows上面用 \\xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx\xxxx的方式访问。

-bash-3.2# mount -t smbfs -o username=root,password=xxxxxxx,  //x.xxx.xxx.xxx/root /mnt/dir
mount:  '-o' 'Directory/File Name' invalid with the '-t' option.


-bash-3.2# mount -o username=root,password=xxxxxxx  x.xxx.xxx.xxx:/root /mnt/dir
mount: server x.xxx.xxx.xxx not responding
: RPC: 1832-019 Program not registered
mount: retrying
  x.xxx.xxx.xxx:/root

还尝试了好几种写法都失败了。
