Senior Software Engineer - Power optimization (5)
办公地点：北京、深圳
In this position, you will work with peripheral vendors, chipset vendors and various internal teams to implement various low power features of peripherals and chipset internal controllers to reduce the power consumption on Letv mobile platform. The peripherals may include are not limited to different kinds of sensors, USB/Storage, WIFI, Display, Bluetooth, and etc. You’ll work with your team leader to do the researches to identify and implement the low power features.
Qualifications:
        Bachelor Degree of computer science relative majority plus over 4 years working experience or Master Degree plus over 3 years working experience
        Strong programming ability in C, C++.
        Experienced in Linux kernel/drivers development
        Developing experience of power management of specific peripherals/controllers, e.g. sensors, USB/Storage, WIFI, Display, Bluetooth and etc.
        Understanding of hardware, including ability to read schematic is a strong plus
        Power tuning/optimization experience is a strong plus
        Familiar with ARM based SoC architecture is a strong plus
        Upstream experience in Linux/Android community is a plus
        Strong learning and problem solving skills. Highly self-motivated.
        Smooth English communication skill including read/write/listen/speak


System Software Engineer – Power optimization (3)

In this position, you will analyze and optimize the power consumption from system level on Letv mobile platform. Work with chipset vendors and platform architecture to develop tool sets to detect power issues and regressions. Monitor and keep the power management of the main platform in a good status and drive the component owners to fix the issues with constructive suggestions. Optimize the CPU governor/thermal policies.
Qualifications:
        Bachelor Degree of computer science relative majority plus over 6 years working experience or Master Degree plus over 5 years working experience
        Strong programming ability in C, C++.
        Experienced in Linux kernel/drivers development
        Experienced in power management of Linux kernel and ARM based SoC platforms
        Familiar with Android power management in HAL, framework and application layers.
        Understanding of hardware, including the ability to read schematic, familiar with PMIC/Clock/Power rails in high level.
        Strong learning and problem solving skills. Highly self-motivated.

Senior Software Engineer – Performance optimization (4)

In this position, you will work with chipset vendors, peripheral vendors to identify and enable the available performance optimization solutions of varieties of hardware modules (e.g. sensors, WIFI, blue tooth, USB/storage, video playback, Audio, etc.) on Letv mobile platform. The solutions may require customization in Linux kernel, HAL and Android Framework. Implement advanced performance features supported by the hardware but no available software solution from vendors yet.  Analyze performance bottlenecks and suggest/execute creative and timely solutions to optimize specific modules (e.g. TCP/IP, scheduler, file system, drivers, etc).
Qualifications:

        Strong programming ability in C, C++.
        Experienced in Linux kernel/drivers development
        Familiar with Android HAL, Android framework.

In this position, you will be responsible to evaluate/analyze the overall performance of the whole system on Letv mobile platforms and work with other engineers to identify subsystems (in kernel or Android) in need of optimization. Research performance optimizing techniques and algorithms which might suit the need of the platform.
