Oracle DBA

Responsibilities
•        Collaborate with development teams on the design and implementation of database services, data stores, stored procedures, and replication.
•        Act as an interface for development teams with database technology providers and guide use of new database technologies and features.
•        Enhance, maintain, and troubleshoot database replication.
•        Evaluate new technologies, frameworks, and methodologies to scale our data infrastructure for future customer growth and product launches.
•        Administer Oracle standalone, RAC, and ExaData systems.
•        Manage application and user permissions.
•        Write and code review DDL and DML.
•        Continuously identify optimizations to existing database queries, jobs, and processes.
•        Investigate performance anomalies and perform root cause analysis for databases and their interface.

Requirements
•        3+ years of production experience as an Oracle DBA with at least 6 years technical background.  
•        Strong understanding of database concepts such as normalization, clustering, concurrency, and lock / latch management
•        Strong understanding of Oracle RAC
•        Strong understanding of Golden Gate replication
•        Mastery of structured query language (SQL)
•        Experience writing and tuning Oracle PL / SQL
•        Excellent problem solving, collaboration, and communication skills
•        Able to perform after-hours, and / or weekend support for key deployments.
•        Strong written and verbal communication skills

Pluses

•        Familiar with Open Source, Git, and / or GitHub

Responsibility
•Technically drive company’s ongoing adoption of IaaS, design, implement, and orchestrate the large scale private and public infrastructure for game production.
•Tune the Openstack components for the maximum performance, use automatic way to optimize the deployment and configuration to deliver the IaaS and service to game development teams.
•Efficiently troubleshoot all the technical issues happening on Openstack, and support the other teams to ensure the players’ gaming experience.
•Keep thrive in the Cloud computing technology evolving, and adapt the new features, application, release and modules into the production after research and define the proof-of-concept.
•Share knowledge with peers and train the junior team members for the better team improvement.

Technical Requirement
A strong candidate will have many of these skills:
•A mastery of Linux.  This means: you know why Cloud things work on a Linux system, not just how to configure them
•Experience developing enterprise application architectures to meet business requirements in complex environments
•Knowledge and experience with large-scale systems integration involving private, hybrid, and public cloud platforms
•Understanding of Cloud orchestration frameworks, enterprise IT service provisioning tools, and their role in IT transformation
•Experience with public and private Cloud, including OpenStack and AWS
•Experience with configuring: OpenStack Ceilometer, Cinder, Glance, Heat, Keystone, Nova, Neutron, Swift
•Experience with virtualization, including: KVM, Xen, and VMWare

•Able to write software in Python or some other administrative language

Storage  Engineer:

Responsibility

• Design and develop complex configurations for storage arrays and SANs which back multi-thousand node production infrastructure environments.
• Work with database administrators and developers to plan capacity usage so that we never run out of space when the next game launch hits to ensure storage performance and reliability the critical for our game service, and continue working on data and storage capability improvement.
• Research and evaluate all these technologies, understanding exactly how they operate, and how they will succeed or fail in our unique environment and build POC.
• Troubleshoot and support all storage related live issues in the professional and efficient manner to improve the game playing experience.
• Provide backup and disaster recovery support on needed including replication deduplication and disk based backup systems with other storage and backup engineers.

Technical Requirement

A strong candidate will have most, if not all of these skills:

• Mastery of storage and SAN concepts.  You know why things function, not just how to configure them
• Expertise with EMC Storage arrays (Symmetrix and VNX)
• Experience with HP 3PAR storage arrays
• Mastery of storage area networks including Brocade and Cisco
• Expertise with host based multipathing software (dm-multipath, VxDMP)
• Expertise with volume managers (LVM, VxVM, etc)
• Experience supporting Oracle, MySQL, Couchbase or other databases
• Experience with EMC Data Domain, as well as NetBackup and/or CommVault
• Experience Linux / UNIX system administration, such as raid and file systems

System Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design environments according to project requirements.
• Perform system performance tuning and administration.
• Manage the critical system services such as DNS，Puppt, LDAP and Clusters.
