关于sybase11数据库设备的问题

本人是易菜鸟，现在用一unix 5.0.6 ,安装的sybase11,但是不知道是什么原因，只能建立10个数据库设备，我看别人的服务器上都能够建立20个设备的，请各位大侠多多指教，小弟在这里谢了

谢谢，我的设备是建立好了，但是，重新启动以后却出现了sybase的备份服务无法启动的情况和提示：

The context allocation routine failed when it tried to load localization files!!

Your sybase home directory is /usr/sybase. Check the environment variable SYBASE
if it is not the one you want!

你的sybase是装在/usr/sybase目录下吗？

不是的，我的sybase系统文件装载/sybase11设备下，数据库的设备文件装载在/sybasedata下（例如backuplog、errorlog和我自己创建的一些数据库文件都在这个设备下），原来在sybinit中设置的
Release directory:  /sybase11
但是现在却变成了
Release directory:  /usr/sybase
不知道为什么，我也没做起它的什么阿

以有没有启动你的SYB_BACKUP或者你给你的server指定的备份服务程序呢。如果没有，具体怎么建backup_server不用我说了吧！^_^^_^

还有你以什么用户登陆的，你的用户的环境变量中SYBASE设置的是什么？看看是不是设置错了。^_^

1、我首先能够启动RUN_SYBASE的数据库服务，
2、在/usr/sybase目录下的.profile 文件中有如下内容，也不知道我是否配置正确：
[ -d /usr/local/bin -a -x /usr/local/bin ] && PATH=$PATH:/usr/local/bin

PATH=$PATHHOME/binSYBASE/binSYBASE/install:/usr/bin:/tcb/bin:/sybase11:/sybase11/install:/sybasedata:/sybase11/bin:/bin:/sbin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin.

MAIL=/usr/spool/mail/`logname`
SYBASE=/sybase11
DSQUERY=SYBASE

而且，我现在建立完设备以后，我在建立库的时候
（数据设备名称：data     日志设备名称：datalog）
出现错误：
GREATE DATABASE :allocating  1024000  pages on disk  'data'
GREATE DATABASE :allocating  1024000  pages on disk  'datalog'
I/O  failed while attempting to clear pages starting at page 0 of disk number 9.

不知道什么原因。
