3581的磁带库在执行db2 backup的时候出错

我现在这边也是用的DB2（V8.1）的数据库和3581的磁带机。
操作系统是AIX5.2
我们磁带机跟DB2都已经装好了。现在那个磁带机备份文件系统都没有问题（就是用smitty来备份文件系统）。
但用DB2的备份命令来备份数据库的时候就报错。
错误如下：
db2 =>; backup database test user db2inst1 using db2lss to /dev/rmt2
SQL2031W  Warning! Please mount the target or source media on device
"/dev/rmt2".

我不知道是还要做什么方面的设置才能备份数据库还是其他原因。
磁带机我看了都使正常的。
因为我们现在IBM那边的服务还没有启动。但这边用户又急着要备份数据库。
