求助:哪位大哥英文好进来帮忙翻译一下,谢谢啦!!
When SATA disks were under heavy I/Os, the disk array frequently reported errors on one of the disks. In this case, the hot spare disk failed to replace the error disk to recover. For the moment, there are couple of customers who have a system with more than ten error disks and the system failed to recover from that by hot spare. The management application has no functionality to offline the disk with bad blocks. Instead, all we can do is to Copy or Replace it. However, what we found is even Copy/Clone would fail due to the disk error when the bad blocks of other groups of disks was read/writen. The customer would like the system to have the ability to offline the disk with bad blocks and replace it with a hot spare automaticly. |
