我刚开始装中文桌面，原来装过一次，是ports安装的，桌面也能进，qq什么的也都可以用了，然后就没再用了，这次专门装的5.4，按楼主的方法用的，居然不行了，很是郁闷

靠，知道了，securelevel的问题，用桌面就要牺牲安全？！

我没汉化，如果想要中文，可以安装时就安装中文版的，从这儿下载LINUX版的，然后安装, http://www.mozilla.net.cn/firefox/

感谢楼主，按照文中的方法配好了root帐户的中文桌面，但是另外的帐户却无法显示中文。请教如何配置多用户的中文环境？
