急！急！找不到L25！！！

我是菜鸟，请大虾看看，除了没有插Terminal，但可以读写，L25磁带机算是正常吗？另外status显示mt: Inappropriate ioctl for device，十分郁闷。我在/dev/rmt/0看到了，客户却说没有发现L25，请各位给予提示。

你只看到了机械手设备
probe里面 磁带机都没有 应该是HP的
你用的是什么光纤卡 ，对卡有要求的
卡要打补丁，装磁带机还要打补丁

你在sunsolve上查查装那个磁带机用哪个补丁，对应不同版本的系统要不同的补丁的，我前几周就做过一个880加HP磁带机。

主机为V480，卡为X6541A，带库为L25，看了一下sunsolve其安装文档，不需要另行打补丁哟；

从你的probe-scsi-all的输出好象连线有问题
或者运行cfgadm -al看看有什么输出；或者删除/etc/rmt/下的全部文件，
devfsadm -C;devfsadm
cd /etc/rmt
ls -l 　看看有没有生成新的文件
如没有，检查L25的联线,

晕。没想到我的问题和你的一模一样，
我也存在上面的问题，好几天没做备份了。
磁带库和磁带机也一样，现在都用不了了，打devfsadm，整个系统很快就会down掉，系统会不断的检查各个端口，所以强行关机，待星期六，星期天弄了。平时关不了机呀！

看下能不能够看到带库的驱动器
看不到的话再检查线连接是否正确

如果能够进入OS,重新查找带库
cd /opt/openv/volmgr/bin/driver
./sg.install

cd /opt/openv/volmgr/bin
./sg.build all
会提示要删掉一个文件,你就先删掉吧!

然后用iostat -En 那系统能不能认到带库的两个驱动器



完了后再到OK状态
setenv auto-boot? true

首先来讲，你个控制器和磁带库都是差分的scsi，睹头是需要的。
再来：机械臂是个特殊的东西，在ok状态下不是所有厂家的磁带库都能正确探测。
再来：mt命令确实可以用来控制磁带机，但是控制不了机械臂，请使用备份软件测试你的磁带库。
再来：可以手工（通过L25的面板）把磁带放入到驱动器中。然后执行备份测试命令，观察驱动器上的读写灯是否变化。
再来：测试可以选个略为大一点的文件，以便观察备份过程。
再来：备份测试中可以使用iostat -xn 3 | grep rmt抓取io流量，确认是否确实有数据写入磁带库。
