SCO UNIX 5.O安装
1. 编写目的
有些用户还在使用 sco unix 5.0 ，为方便大家安装，特录入此文档。
2. 系统基本需求
安装 sco unix 5.05 需要 pentium100以上或与之相当的计算机，3.5 寸软驱、至少倍速以上的光驱，32M以上的内存，1G以上的硬盘。
3. 推荐配置
pentium 200 以上或与之相当的计算机，3.5寸软驱，8倍速以上光驱，64M内存，2G以上的硬盘
4. 安装步骤
4.1 将系统安装盘插入软驱,启动机器并等待。
4.2 屏幕提示 ress <Enter>; to begin installation，按回车键。
4.3 屏幕显示的选择,选continue，按回车键。
4.4 选择光驱:
Media device to used:IDE CD ROM
IDE Controllerrimary or Secondary（当光标停在此处时，按空格键可以改变选择，此处应根据你计算机光盘的实际连接方法进行选择，一般情况应选择Primary）
Master or Slave:Master(Slave) （当光标停在此处时，按空格键可以改变选择，此处应根据你计算机光盘的实际连接方法进行选择，一般情况应选择 Master）
将光盘放入光驱,
选择 Accept above choice
选择 OK 继续.
4.5 Keyboard: US English 当光标停在此处时，按空格键可以改变选择，此处应选择 US English，并回车选择 OK 继续
4.6 当系统出现提示要求输入 serial no.和 licecode 时正确的输入序列号及注册码
4.7 选择"Upgrade"(升级)或"Fresh"(更新),选择"Fresh"和OK继续安装.
4.8 System name:机器名<Enter>; （ 此处回车选默认值）
Domain name:域名<Enter>; （ 此处回车选默认值）
Security profile:Traditoual(安全级别) <Enter>;（ 此处回车选默认值） <Enter>;
Time Zone:China Stand Time ( 此处按空格键选择，先选择 ASIA ，后系统出现提示，选择China Stand Time
Languag:Standard C(English)
4.9 Stand Enterprise System Configuration:No （此处按空格键改变，选择NO）
Lightweigh Character terminal Configuration:Yes
If you run large database produets Choose the following:Yes
4.10 Hard disk Setup 选择Interactive fdisk/divvy （此处按空格键改变，选择Interactive fdisk/divvy ）
Optional Software:SCO OpenServer Enterprise System, xxx MB(缺省即可)
4.11 NetWork Card eferred （ 按空格键改变，选择 Deferred ）
NetWork address: No networking card configurad ( 按回车键选择 默认值)
Viedeo and graphics:IBM VGA （ 回车键选择默认值）
Mouse: 按空格键改变，选择NO
Email: MMDF （ 按回车键选择默认值）
4.12超级用户口令: 输入超级用户口令，并键入第二次以确认口令的正确，（请牢记口令）
4.13选择OK继续安装.
4.14 Initialization Selection:
选择1.Contiune with hard disk insta
4.15 Hard disk Drive 0 configuration.选择q退出.
4.16 划分UNIX分区:
择2.Use Entire disk for UNIX,
最后再选q退出.
4.17 在对UNIX系统分区进行确认后, 当出现下面的画面时,
This device contains a valid division table.additional (non-root)filesystems can be preserved across this reinstallation .if you wish to be able to preserve these filesystems later,you must not change the currentlimit of the bad track table,which is 15 bad tracks.do you wish to leave it unchanged?(y/n)y
选Y后出现画面如下，开始对UNIX系统分区进行扫描:
1.Print Current Bad Track Table
2.Scan Disk（You may choose Read-Only or Destructive later）
3.Add entries to Current Bad Track Table by Cylinder/Head Number
4.Add entries to Current Bad Track Table by Sector Number
5.Delete Entries Individually from Current Bad Track Table
6.Delete All Entries from Currnt Bad Track Table
Enter your choice or q to quit: 2
在此处, 可以选择第2项对硬盘进行扫描, 在下面的过程中还可以确定扫描是只读性的（Read-Only）还是破坏性的（Destructive）。针对大于500M的硬盘，建议最好不要扫描，尤其是不要增加坏道表。当然, 如果在以前的安装过程中已经对硬盘进行了扫描, 此处可以选择q退出。
4.18 Enter the number of bad tracks to allocate for Cor press <Return>; to
usr the recommanded Value of 15 回车.
4.19 Do you what to preserve your additional filesystem/divisions(Y/N)?N
4.20 Please enter the Swap-space alloation or press <Return>; to get the default
alloation of ....1K blocks.回车.
4.21 Please enter the boot-space allocation, or press <Return>; to get the
default allocation of 15000K block:回车.
4.22 Do you want a separate /u filesystem(Y/N)?N
4.23 Do you wish to make any manual adjrestents to the size or names of the
filesystems or swap area before they are created on the hard disk(Y/N)?Y
调整root大小,一般为500MB.(注：如果您的计算机上不打算安装 informix，此处可以选择 N。)
4.24 mount the swap [/swap]? <ENTER>; 回车选择默认值）,
4.25 等待机器自动安装0%--100%.
5. 对第22步 的补充说明
本步骤选择 Y 将对系统进行分区，现举例说明如下：
选择Y后，系统出现画面如下：

c[reate] Create a new file system on this division.
t[ype] Select or change filesystem type on new filesystems.
p[revent] Prevent a new file system from being created on this division.
s[tart] Start a division on a different block.
e[nd] End a division on a different block.
r[estore] Restore the original division table.
Enter your choice or q to quit:
例如希望分一个informix区，
I.命名一个分区
a.键入 n
b.系统提示 which division? (0 through 7) 3 （希望第3 区作为 informix 区）
c.what do you want to call it? Informix (将其命名为 informix)
II.定义分区的起使位置
a.此时回到主界面，选 s ( 定义分区的起使位置)
b.系统提示 which division? (0 through 7) 3 （定义第3区的起使位置）
c.Starting block number? 1500000 ( 定义第3区的起使位置，此处的数字应根据实际情况确定，但一定不能小于ROOT区的 LAST BLOCK
III. 定义分区终止位置
a.此时回到主界面，选 e (定义分区终止位置)
b.系统提示 which division? (0 through 7) 3 （定义第3区的终止位置）
c.ending block number 20000000 （定义第3区的起使位置，此处的数字应根据实际情况确定，但一定不能大于RECOVER区的 FIRST BLOCK
IV.选择 q 退出，
出现如下界面
i[nstall] Install the division set-up shown
r[eturn] Return to the previous menu
e[xit] Exit without installing a division table
Please enter your choice:
键入 i。
至此，系统分区完毕。 |
