关于系统迁移的问题请教

手上的项目很快要从Unix平台迁移到Linux，除了Oracle之外还有其他的一些应用程序
以前没有具体实施过类似的事情，虽然已经赶出来了一份迁移计划，但总觉得不是很全面
由于时间比较紧急，又是生产环境，不知道坛子里的各位对系统迁移能否给出一些建议，先行谢过

that's challenging, why not share your 迁移计划 with the BBS? so someone else might give you some ideas.

steps I'd like to suggest:
1. install Linux
2. install applications +  Oracle,  inculding conguring file systems, user accounts, sudo, PAM, even LAN routing, router ACL setting.
3. configure oracle and applications (check against the configuration on the UNIX server!)
4. test oracle and applications are functioning fine with some trial data.
5. bring down applications and Oracle on your UNIX server, and copy the data over to the Linux boxes. I assume the application/DB data format is the same, otherwise you'll need the application/DB tool to convert the data (keep the original data!)  and copy it to the Linux box.
6. bring up DB & applications on the Linux server.
