[缓存] 如何检查服务器上的web已被更新

请问：
如何在不对本地缓存的web和远程服务器上的web进行比较的情况下，检查现在服务器上的web是否被更新？

我知道某些浏览器有实现这种功能，即：发现目标web比自己缓存的还要新的话，就请求该web，如果服务器上的web没有更新的话，就直接以自己缓存的来显示。

http  协议是否有相关定义？

http头会发送更新标志，一般就是页面的失效时间

你装httpwatch了吗？是ie内用来查看http会话的一个插件，具体下载你google一下

下面是我观察得到的ie和服务端会话内容：
