Abling Group Ltd. need Javascript developers.
We're based in the UK (founded in 1989) with several staff hired in China already. We have developed software products for a number of companies, notably Reuters, Barclays and many insurance companies. We have always operated on a teleworking basis - our staff usually work from their home. We have experience of having staff working in the UK, China, Canada, France, USA and Hungary.
We are now looking to recruit a Javascript developer in China (mainly Beijing/Tianjin) because of the high quality of people that we have found so far. Knowledge of AJAX techniques and use of at least one AJAX library is essential. It would help if you were able to write HTML, and Python skills would be a bonus. The project you would be working on is a discussion and conferencing system, based upon internet technologies with AJAX and wxPython-based clients.
All our work is done in English, so we need people with good English. As most communication is by email or online discussion systems, written English is more important than spoken. If you have taken a TOEFL or IELTS test or equivalent, your grade would be helpful to us.
The team is led by Hugh Gibson. Hugh and company founder Kevin Grumball were both instrumental in the development of Actinic Catalog - one of the best-selling ecommerce packages in the world.
