在redhat as4下架设syslog，接收pix日志的问题？

我架设好后，syslog服务器可以收到pix日志，但是messages和pix.log（我自己建的文件）同时会记录，这是为什么呢？还有就是，我想把所有日志文件单独放在一个分区，如我的sdb5，我挂在要根目录下的log下，在syslog.conf指名文件路径，日志记录不到，这是为什么呢？配置文件如下：

红色的两个文件同时记录pix传过来的日志？还有就是我在syslog.conf文件中，把日志文件的路径改成/log/pix.log。后日志就不记录了，不知道为什么呢，我把另一个盘的分区挂在log下了，即使我不挂另一个分区，也不行。好像日志文件必须在/var/log下才记录的了，请大家指教？

messages和pix.log文件同时记录的问题找到了，在syslog.conf把*.info;mail.none;news.none;authpriv.none;cron.none              /var/log/messages中的*.info去掉即可；修改成mail.none;news.none;authpriv.none;cron.none              /var/log/messages。但是为什么在syslog.conf把日志文件指向另外一个目录不是/var/log下就不行了？请大家指教。

今天又做了一下实验，发现我所加的6509，4506，等所有的信息全部会发给系统的messages文件，仔细检查了一下，发现把配置中的这一句*.info;mail.none;news.none;authpriv.none;cron.none              /var/log/messages修改成*.info;local4.none;mail.none;news.none;authpriv.none;cron.none              /var/log/messages后，pix的日志就不会记录到messages中去了。*.info是所有对象一般信息全部记录到messages,但是日志文件的位置如果放到其他位置还是不能够访问哈？

今天安装了另外一台电脑，用的内核是Linux wlzxftp 2.4.20-8 #1 Thu Mar 13 17:18:24 EST 2003 i686 athlon i386 GNU/Linux这个版本中的syslog日志文件可以随便写到那个位置。但是Linux log.mnu.cn 2.6.9-11.EL #1 Fri May 20 18:17:57 EDT 2005 i686 athlon i386 GNU/Linux这个版本中的syslog就是行，其中syslog程序的版本都一样。全部都是1.4.1这是为什么呢？

发现问题所在了哈，我2.6.9这个版本中的syslogd文件有问题，他可以执行，但是没有结果，也没有任何提示，我把另外一台上的syslogd cp过来，覆盖就行了，真是太简单了哈。
