Hope you can find the info you need from the infodoc below.
There are MIBs listed in the file. So you mean Solaris can't provide the value for this entry?
See Manpage will be a good way to find the problem.
bash-3.00# find . |xargs grep hrProcessorLoad
./mibs/HOST-RESOURCES-MIB.txt: hrDeviceErrors, hrProcessorLoad, hrNetworkIfIndex,
./mibs/HOST-RESOURCES-MIB.txt: hrProcessorLoad Integer32
./mibs/HOST-RESOURCES-MIB.txt:hrProcessorLoad OBJECT-TYPE
./mibs/HOST-RESOURCES-MIB.txt: hrProcessorFrwID, hrProcessorLoad,
bash-3.00# pwd
/etc/sma/snmp

History
This package was originally based on the Carnegie Mellon University and
University of California
at Davis SNMP implementations. The package has been greatly enhanced, ported,
fixed, made
easier to use, and thus barely resembles the original package.
The following are some excerpts from the FAQ page found on the site listed
above. For
the complete FAQ, go to the site.
What is it?
- Various tools relating to the Simple Network Management Protocol including:
* An extensible agent
* A SNMP library
* Tools to request or set information from SNMP agents
* Tools to generate and handle SNMP traps
* A version of the unix 'netstat' command using SNMP
* A graphical Perl/Tk/SNMP based mib browser

What operating systems does it run on?
Both the applications and the agent have been reported as running
(at least in part) on the following operating systems:
* HP-UX (10.20 to 9.01 and 11.0 -- see README.hpux11)
* Ultrix (4.5 to 4.2)

Questions about using the package should be directed to the
net-snmp-users@lists.sourceforge.net mailing list.
Note that this mailing list is relatively busy, and the people answering these
questions are
doing so out of the goodness of their hearts, and in addition to their main
employment.
Please note the following:
- use plain text mail, rather than HTML
- don't send questions more than once (even if no-one answers immediately)
- include full details of exact commands and error messages
("I've tried everything, and it doesn't work" isn't much use!)
- do *NOT* send messages to -users and -coders mailing lists
(most developers read both anyway)
- don't mail the developers privately - keep everything on the list
Remember that this is basically an unsupported package. Fundamentally it's Open
Source, so you have
the source code. If you need something fixed, it's up to you to do the work. |
