请教各位老大，如果把以前装的php彻底删除！

做了个qmail+igenus,总是报错，需把以前装的php删掉，可以总删不干净，重装时总是报错，请各位老大帮忙！！
错误：
checking for AOLserver support... no

checking for Apache 1.x module support... no
checking for member fd in BUFF *... no
checking for mod_charset compatibility option... no
checking for Apache 2.0 module support via DSO through APXS... no

你的环境和配置选项？

我用的是redhat8.0 apache是用httpd-2.0.40.tar.gz,php是用php-4.3.0.tar.gz,装完qmail+igenus时。发信有错误，需把php删除重装。特来请各位老大如何好php完全删除？？？？
# cd httpd-2.0.40
# ./configure --prefix=/var/www --enable-modules=so
# make
# make install

# ./configure --with-mysql --with-apxs2=/var/www/bin/apxs
# make
# make install
# cp php.ini-dist /usr/local/lib/php.ini

不用吧？最多覆盖安装就行了
而且"发信有错误"和你的PHP编译过程应该没有多大的关系啊

每次发信都有这样的错误提示是：
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: mail() in /var/www/igenus/include/send_fun.php on line 528

vi /var/www/igenus/include/send_fun.php
528 return mail($this->;mailTo,$subject,"",$mailHeader);
听各位老大说是php的问题，测试php时
standard 中只有这两项：
Regex Library Bundled library enabled
Dynamic Library Support enabled
需重装php，一重装就提示上面的错误码
还请教老大有什么好的办法？？？

我添了好像没用(如果不是还请前指教)，我才重装的php  ，现在连php也装不上了。

谢谢各位前辈，不过改这个文件真的是不管用。
只有重装才好使，费解！！
