While the internet provides a powerful delivery tool for information, the challenge is how to integrate this information in real-time between operational systems, business intelligence environments and e-Business servers. They strive to exceed this challenge by offering software solutions that give customers the instant data access, integration and availability they demand today, across all computers in their business.
SUMMARY
Building upon your successful software sales track record, you will promote and sell their best of breed software products and services in the Asia Pacific territory. In true ‘sales hunter’ fashion, you will prospect, generate and cultivate new leads in your region and expand their presence in their target markets by effectively communicating their unique value proposition. In addition, you will leverage existing customer relationships by seeking new opportunities for the solution to provide ongoing support towards ensuring overall satisfaction and long term relationships.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
Sell and market their unique solutions in Asia Pacific, building a pipe line of qualified prospects and consistently achieving and/or exceeding your assigned quotas and revenue objectives.
Perform sales forecasting; account planning and other related sales tasks to grow assigned business profitably
Thoroughly analyse and understand current and potential customers’ needs and objectives in order to successfully determine the appropriate solution and create compelling sales positioning capitalizing on the strengths that will meet those needs and objectives.
Source and stay abreast of competitive industry and market intelligence, providing feedback for lead generation, to support recommendations, for sales positioning and to identify developing opportunities.
In cooperation with the Executive Team, develops activities to promote them with Strategic Alliance Partners (i.e. IBM, Microsoft, etc.)
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS: EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Your Unique Value Proposition
University or College Degree backed by a minimum of 3 years relevant experience in enterprise software sales
Skilled at cold calling and prospecting to identify new business opportunities
Expert knowledge of the Sales Cycle and Strategic Selling techniques, backed by exceptional quota exceeding sales performance.
Skill at overcoming objections, negotiating and closing the sale
Confidence and ability to interface professionally with a wide spectrum of customers including C level executives
Experience, familiarity and ability to understand and clearly articulate knowledge of various database technologies and enterprise software
Polish and professionalism in delivering presentations to executive groups, customizing to suit the audience
Strong business acumen, ethics and high integrity
Resilience and ability to work independently and partner effectively within and outside your immediate team to achieve desired business results.
SPECIALISED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
· Thorough knowledge of marketing principles and company’s international business operations.
· Good knowledge of applicable customs, laws, etc…of counties in which the company conducts business.
· Excellent time management, communications, decision making, presentation, human relations and organizational skills.
· Significant travel throughout the Asia Pacific region required.
