1.Linux Software Engineer/ Senior Linux Software Engineer /Team Leader

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:  
   
Write functional specifications based on directions and requirements.  
Develop software modules from design specification.  
Build software modules using C/C++, JAVA, or other software tools.  
Integrate new software modules with other modules.  
Conduct unit tests and integration tests to ensure best product quality.  
Provide the weekly work status to the project lead  
Apply learned technical knowledge to improve software development process.  

Qualifications:  
   
M.S., B.S. or higher in Computer Science or related field  
2+ year software development experience in Linux environment  
Must have strong programming skill in C/C++ under Linux environment.  
Must have Object Oriented software design skill.  
Fluent English Reading/Writing is highly desirable  
Sophisticated logical thinking and analytical skills  
Self-motivated. Can-do attitude. Good team player. Hardworking.  
Must be flexible to work in early or late office hours, when required

2. SQA / Senior SQA

Duties:

The person for this position will perform writing and executing test plans and test cases including manual and automation tests on data protection software products, configuration of test environments with different computer hardware and operation systems, verification of test results, documentation of tests results and reporting of status, troubleshooting issues.
Requirements:

The successful candidate will have 3 years of applicable professional QA experience or as a specialist in applicable technologies, BS or MS in Computer Science. The ideal candidate would have skills including:
Knowledge of Windows and Solaris operating systems
High level system debugging and troubleshooting skills
Manual and GUI testing
Automated Test script and Execution
Knowledge of backup applications
Excellent English oral and written communication skills with the ability to work in a team environment is required.

Desired Skills:
Storage device configuration knowledge with different computer hardware and operation system environments and in SAN environments
Knowledge and work experience in one of following database application: Oracle, DB2, SQL, Exchange, Lotus Notes, SAP, and SharePoint databases is a plus
Perl, Java, C++ or other Programming language knowledge and experience

3.JAVA Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:  
Create functional specifications based on marketing requirements.  
Design and develop software modules from functional specification.  
Design and develop world class servers to manage security for large enterprise.
Build high performance software modules using JAVA or other software tools.  
Integrate software modules into a complete functional product ready for QA testing.  
Conduct unit tests and integration tests to ensure best product quality.  
Provide the weekly work status to the project lead or manager  

Qualifications:  
M.S., B.S. or higher in Computer Science or related field  
3+ year software development experience in high performance server application  
Strong programming skill in JAVA servlets, Swing, and JDBC.   Must have solid understanding o
Must have Object Oriented software design skill.  
Experience with Eclipse tools is highly desirable.  
Must have in depth system level knowledge of IIS, Apache, and Tomcat WEB servers.  
Database development with Oracle and SQL is highly desirable.

4.Development Manager

Qualifications:

We need leaders with experience in multiplatform development, who have expertise on Solaris, Linux and other major UNIX platforms, and who understand the ins and outs of leading teams that are developing products and components that will run in different environments.  Strong background in C/C++ development throughout the entire software lifecycle is a must, as is professional experience developing on the SOAP/XML/HTTP stack and with SOAP based web service development.  Experience with client/server applications and contemporary remote deployment mechanisms is highly desired, and professional use of other application abstraction components such as OpenSSL, ACE and TAO is a plus.

Responsibilities:

This role spans several groups.  We are responsible to deliver components that will be used by several leading products to manage their application agents.  Be totally responsible for the team that designs, develops and maintains high-quality code components for distributed client and agent management infrastructure with a focus on a team-of-equals approach, with flexible work requirements and schedule.  Handle all staffing, management, review and feedback processes.  Drive identification and resolution of conflicts, product and process issues.  Identify and resolve issues early in the process and work to mitigate impacts of those found later in the process.   

Success Factors:

The person in this position will be the leader of the team building components used to manage application agents in complex Enterprise operating environments.  They will work closely with Product Management to understand and clarify requirements, drive development and review of detailed designs, ensure developers work closely with their QE counterparts to develop solid and reliable test approaches for the development, and that they implement, test and deliver the code, working closely with tech writers, Technical Product Managers, Systems Engineers and application developers who will need to understand the implementation in detail.  This person will also ensure the entire development and QE team is available to front line Support professionals to respond to questions and concerns and to drive solutions for problems that are found.


5.Windows Senior Software Engineer  

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Build software modules using Visual C/C++, SDK, MFC, and other software tools.  
Integrate software modules into a complete functional product ready for QA testing.

Apply learned technical knowledge to improve software development process.  
Participate in interview, hiring, and team building process  

Qualifications:  

M.S., B.S. or higher in Computer Science or related field  
5+ year software development experience in system or network security environment  
Must have strong programming skill in C/C++ under Windows environment.  
Must know how to use Microsoft MFC, SDK, and WinSock.  
Must be proficient in TCP/IP and UDP network protocols.  
Must have Object Oriented software design skill.  
Must have in depth system level knowledge of Windows operating system  
Full life cycle software development experience from conception to product delivery is highly desirable.

6.Senior Java/GUI developer

You will be joining an exciting team developing the next generation data protection product for the Symantec Data Protection Group (formerly a part of Veritas Software). As a senior technical member of this team, you will be responsible for  

1.Design and develop Java GUI and server components on Windows/Linux platform.   
2.Conduct research and implementation on new technologies, or extension of products’ functionalities.   
3.Interact closely with members of global product teams in other locations, as well as system engineers, technical support engineers.   

4. Perform I18N/L10N design and implementation on Java GUI and server.  
5.Guide junior engineers on technical details and design decisions.   

Skills required:  

1.M.S., B.S. or higher in Computer Science or related field.   
2.Must have hands-on, product development experience in the past 4 years on both Java GUI and server development.  
3.Framework design and development experience.
