我在vmware4里面老是配置不了，特别奇怪，装完vmware-tools老是出现个什么vmtools out of date，用XFree86 -configure的时候居然提示我说X版本是3.3，显卡检测不出来，可是查看版本显示的是4.3，真是怪异，xf86cfg倒是能用，但是不知道该怎么设置显卡那项：（
那位弄好了来说说呀

你安装好了vmtools后，在/etc下，就有个vmware目录了。
里面有个dualconf.sh文件。
先运行./dualconf.sh start
然后再startx就可以正常使用了。
我是修改了startx,在里面第一行加入了dualconf.sh start
然后每次直接startx就可以了

我用手工修改的XF86Config可以用啊。

你点了那个install vmtools之后会出来一个光盘
里面就是vmtools不用单独下载

vmware tools的那个光盘在vmware安装后的目录里有，可以手工mount上去
