quick searching function

Currently I have a program problem in my project. please give me some auggestion if you have experience on this. thanks.

my project is to complete a quick searching function, mostly like the index function in 'Help' as attached.

-- in search box: I input a character 's', the list box will display the result with 's' started.
-- with C++ or Delphi

please advise. thanks
