capture the graphics on unix system

Hello Sir,

I am new here and new on hp-ux,maybe so low level, but I have to.....;-(  do you know how to capture the graphic on unix system?what kind of tool would be good to capture?

Hi, the following may help:
1. Install some kind of graphic tool on your client computer,such as Cygwin/XFree86;

2. set the DISPLAY variable like this:
    DISPLAY=(the IP address of your client computer with graphic tool installed):0.0

3. Run the graphic tool (take Cygwin/XFree86 for example)
    (1)#startx
    (2)#xhost +(the ip address of the unix host)

4. Then run the software with graphic interface on the unix host,  you can capture the window in your client computer.

Hello Sir,

Thanks alot for your great help! since I can not find that tool at that moment,  I used reflection x  to reflect CDE  on my PC, then run snagit  tool to capture the graphic, I succeeded. The way you taught me I will try today to see whether I can do it by following your instruction.

By the way, as my previous message, I am new on hp-ux. the way you told me truely shocked me at the beginning, I will step by step to be a professional.
