SUN E450搞不定阿，大家帮帮忙！

公司里面有一台SUN E450闲置，想摆弄摆弄。
机器里面有3块硬盘，是连接在主板上的。装了一下SOLARIS10，可以安装上，但是只能安装在其中的一块硬盘上。
我想把三块硬盘做成raid5，不知道是不是还要先安装说明驱动，应该什么步骤呢？

另：我看了sun网站上关于450做raid的文档，似乎需要一块pci的scsi卡的，但我没有，是不是就不行了？
兄弟们手上有450的机器么？scsi硬盘连接在主板上可以作raid么？期待回复。

Since you have all internal disks, you must use disk management software to implement RAID. You can use Sun Logical Volume Manager (also called Solstice Disk Suite, SDS) to do it. It is free and comes with Solaris. However, to create a RAID5 using these three physical disks is very difficult since most of the disk management software doesn't support root partition on RAID5. What you can do is to cut out partitions on the first disk to use as root and swap and leave the rest of the space to form a RAID5 with the partitions on the other two disks. It should be good enough for your practice purpose. Seach the forum for SDS, disk suite or go to docs.sun.com to find document for Sun Logical Volume Manager or Disk Suite.

有3个盘的话，要是用整盘坐R5就不行鸟，因为安装OS占用了一块了，而R5至少要3块盘！如果你用分区做R5到是可以，比如说用c0t0d0s6,c0t1d0s6,c0t2d0s6坐一个R5，具体的做法请参看我的精华贴。。。。。
