Position: Business System Analyst 行业系统分析师
Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations
This opening seeks a qualified Business Systems Analyst with experience implementing and supporting direct to consumer eCommerce applications.
This person will be responsible for the system operation and configuration of the Comergent eCommerce application within a complex, highly integrated environment.
They will provide technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and deploying solutions that are cost effective and meet client requirements. He or she will participate in the development lifecycle and is responsible and accountable for project specific detailed design, testing and quality assurance.
Specifically this person will have the following responsibilities
• Provide detailed technical, business, and application knowledge to team members
• Recommends technical approach for design, development, and implementation of the Comergent application.
• Critically examines functional/technical information and provides solution recommendations
• Develop detailed requirements documents and diagrams
• Develop use case scenarios and validate detailed test plans
• Develop configuration management and application support documentation
• Provide third-level support for the application operations and support team
• Construct plans for performing and managing work including estimating work, establishing commitments, and defining the plan to perform work.
• Once a work plan is established, he or she must also demonstrate the ability to track progress and takes effective actions when actual performance deviates from plan.
Specific Knowledge/Skills
This position requires a minimum of 3-5 years experience working in a large multi-divisional, global company.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in complex environments and be able to comprehend and translate business requirements into technical requirements.                                       
• Excellent oral and written skills are a must
• Minimum 3 years of experience in ecommerce applications with specific experience with                     Comergent applications preferred.
• Strong Development Life Cycle Methodology experience.
• Experience with ETL Integration tools such as: Web Services, Web Methods, SOAP/XML
• Experience writing documentation, conducting analysis, gathering requirements and troubleshooting in complex global environments

ROLE: Business System Analyst of eCommerce
LOCATION: Beijing
SCOPE OF ROLE:
The role is to manage the completion of key milestones involved in various projects in the eCommerce Asia Consumer area with alignment to Global. This requires end-to-end tasks management and liason with different teams in the Technology, Operations, Customer Implementation and Products.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/CHALLENGES:
• Work with business to understand and define requirements for different areas of Mobile Devices eCommerce.
• Analyse business needs to drive the delivery of solutions align with Global direction with tailored to the local business requirements.
• Develop solution jointly with the Solution Architect and Data Architect as required. Work closely with the other project team members in evaluating and selecting vendor when a packaged solution needs to be implemented.
• Coordinate all business related activities with the users as well as customers, such as ensuring legal and regulatory compliance in Asia, review customer contract and revise if necessary, develop and conduct training/workshop and coordinate testing with users or customers in different countries.
• To develop all project deliverables related to business requirements or functional specifications (e.g. Functional Specification, high level and detailed design, test plan and scripts, etc.). Clearly and concisely document all requirements in a structured fashion to define scope of delivery, and translate the Requirements to Functional specifications.
• Provide input to PM in developing the overall and detailed project plan, implementation strategy and schedule.
• Conduct tests at different stages (e.g. SIT, UAT), review the test results, monitor issues resolution, and participate in the exit checkpoints & go/no-go decision for the next stage of the project (e.g. UAT, go-live).
• Ensure business and support users are well trained on use of new applications.
• Display a professional approach in dealings with all staff (incl. Business, External Vendor and Project team members), to facilitate delivery of business functionality.
• Provide Post Implementation Support
SELECTION CRITERIA:
• Degree in Information Science or equivalent disciplines. Masters Degree in Business or Information Technology is an advantage. Strong analytical problem solving skills, thorough working knowledge of the SDLC process and its application within small and large IS projects.
• A very good understanding of customers and products in the area of Asia Consumers and in particular eCommerce.
• At least 8 years extensive experience in working with users with the following activities:
o Liase with senior management and key stakeholders.
o Gather user/business and technical requirements
o Document business and technical processes
o Write business requirement definition and functional specifications
o Effectively translate the business requirements into system requirements to the developers or system analysts
o Prepare functional test plans, cases and scripts.
o Oversee deployment and assist in resolving related issues.
o Proven analytical capability and thorough working knowledge of the SDLC process and its application within small and large IS projects
• Successfully designed and implemented the requirements in at least 2 regional projects.
• Project experience on working with US or EMEA will definitely an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of eCommerce Technology, Internet, Networking, e-Trading. Experience in relevant enablers (e.g. ClickCommerce, Comergent) will be highly advantageous.
• Good customer focus ability to provide an appropriate level of customer service to users and ensuring agreed service levels.
• Experience in using MS Office: Word, Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint. Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Excellent interpersonal, communication and writing skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and writing skills with exposure to operating in multi-cultural setting. Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Good mentoring skills with proven experience in mentoring other business analysts.
