CPD QA Lead: Guest OS

VMware Inc., market leader in virtualization software for industry-standard computers, is seeking QA Engineers to join the
Continuing Product Development (CPD) team. The CPD team is an extension to R&D, which involves enabling new hardware support, validate new operating systems, and work on customer escalations, sustaining current product releases, QA activity for all of these.   Job Responsibilities:

System administration
-
Work with Development team to design test suites and write test plans
-
Design and execute tests
-
Perform manual and automated tests
-
Reproduce and Debug test environment, Analyze test reports and file appropriate bugs
-
Develop/Automate test suites

Requirements:

-
Bachelor’s degree with 5-8 years related experience.
-
Fundamental knowledge of SDLC and QA Concepts
-
Good OS fundamental skills, Linux, Windows, Netware
-
Should have written test cases, and develop test suites, preferably in Perl
-
Excellent Communication skills is a must
-
Experience in testing distributed network application is a must
-
Candidates with VMware product knowledge is a plus.
