Opera is seeking exceptional and experienced embedded engineers to continue
our innovation and market lead in mobile browsing on the embeded platforms.
Opera is available for a growing number of embedded platforms running
Linux/BREW/Windows Mobile/WinCE and other proprietary OSs.
You will join our Dev. office in Beijing, working together with engineers
from Norway and Sweden. All working language will be in English.
Job Responsibilities
* Participate and contribute in all parts of the software development
lifecycle
* Innovate, design and deliver new features and versions
* Take initiative and ensure timely delivery
Job Requirements
* BS, MS or above in Computer Science or equivalent
* Drive and commitment to work in a highly dynamic environment
* Strong C++ skills and firm understanding of object oriented programming
* Good knowledge of web standards
* Good working knowledge of English
Ideals (one or more)
* 3 years experience in UNIX /Linux programming or
equivalent
* A solid flair for making outstanding user interfaces
* Experience with optimization of embedded platforms for speed, footprint
and/or memory.
