一直找不到方法，关系是BSD分区在/dev下是什么hdX？？

linux下我用fdisk的n选项建立一个新分区/dev/hdb1后mount不上，提示没有指定file system，可是我输入mount -t ext3 /dev/hdb1 mount_point之后还是不行，最后不得已到DOS下用PQ分区才搞定。solaris下format之后需要newfs，linux下没见到有什么命令作这一步啊，请教大虾该怎么分区？除了fdisk还有其它什么命令好用？求助

怎么把装FreeBSD的硬盘mount到linux系统下面，F是4.7的版本，L是9的版本。F的分区格式是什么的？我知道L9的是EXT3的。谢谢了。
