Job Description:
- The selected candidate for this position will be a member of the Tellabs HW team in Shanghai. Job expectations include Shanghai design team contributor in new module and HW C/R effort related to optical modules of various types. Job Description:
- Member of a team of hardware development engineers dedicated to Tellabs 8800 development and sustaining.
- The candidate will perform digital circuit design, including implementation of high speed I/Os at the board level, and high-speed bus and clock termination techniques. Sr. Engineer (Transport ME CCR)
Job Description:
- The selected candidate for this position will be a member of the Tellabs HW team in Shanghai. This position is a key role in a multidiscipline team consisting of Electrical Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Thermal Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers, Test Engineers, and PCB Designers, that work together in a fast paced dynamic interactive environment to efficiently create the design of telecommunications equipment.
- The individual will perform mechanical design work to develop new mechanical components or correct defects in and reduce the manufacturing cost of released products. The work will involve collaborating with other members of the mechanical design team, the product development group, and the supply chain organization to identify the requirements for new components or identify issues with components that need to be changed. The work will include reviewing existing product designs to identify system requirements that must be met and to identify components that could be redesigned to reduce piece part or assembly costs, create the design using CAD software, perform engineering analysis to ensure that the design will meet the performance requirements of the product, generate drawings to document the design, and evaluate the prototype samples to ensure compliance to requirements.
