MWR R&D - Embedded SW Architecture

Key Responsibilities:
        Responsible for defining the SW architecture and generating the use cases for the application development and testing.
        Responsible for defining SW development environment
        Responsible for high level specs review

Job Requirements:
        Be experienced in multi-task RT and nRT OS (e.g. Windriver, Linux), C/C++, embedded system and be good at any of the following:
        Be familiar with micro/network processors architecture
        Be familiar with OS knowledge: process schedule, memory management, inter-application communications, etc.  
        Understanding of the complex SW platforms and their challenges
        Network management protocol understanding (http/SOAP, XML, SNMP)
        Have C and C++ programming skill. Knowledge of SW development process


Education/Skills:
        \Master of Science (SW Engineering)
        >5 years working experience in the related area
        Fluent English in both speaking and writing

Key Responsibilities:
          Development of the embedded SW for telecommunication transmission units
          Participate in outlining product architecture definition and derive the low level SW specification

Job Requirements:
          Have C and C++ programming skill. Knowledge of software dev process
          Experience of the basic SW tools: Compilers (e.g. Diab, GNU), ClearCase, debug environments and testing tool (e.g. scripts, HiT)
          Be familiar with RT OS knowledge link VxWorks, Linux or OSE
          Developing and debugging software on embedded platform like Freescale or the others
          Be familiar with any of the following processors architecture: PowerPC, ARM, and MIPS
          Understanding of non-real-time and real-time SW development
          Experience of large-scale SW projects, related design tools, and requirements is an advantage
          Be able to travel aboard and willing to work in the multinational environment.

          Bachelor of Science (Electrical Engineering)

Job Description:         
        Be responsible for driver development for Ethernet or Datacom function.

Job Requirements:
        Experience in multi-task RTOS (VxWorks preferred), C/C++, TCP/IP in real time embedded system, and distributed design.
        Hands on experience in firmware / driver development on Datacom / Telecom equipment.
        Knowledgeable in Ethernet or data communication.
        Experience in driver development including PHY, switch chip, router chip etc. such as Broadcom, Marvell.
        Experience in network processor or FPGA design is a plus.

        Bachelor of Science (SW Engineering)
        >3 years working experience in the related area

Job Description:         
        Be responsible for protocol development for Ethernet or Datacom function.

        Hands on experience in protocol development on Datacom / Telecom equipment.
        Knowledgeable in Ethernet or data communication.
        Knowledgeable in PPP/OSPF/RIP is a plus
        Experience in protocol development such as L2 protocol (OAM, xSTP, LACP etc.), L3 protocol (OSPF, IS-IS, BGP etc.), MPLS (VPLS, LDP, PWE3 etc.).
