Role's Mission:
ChinaNetCloud, China’s largest Linux server operations company is seeking a Linux Engineer. You

Position Responsibilities:
In this role you will:
Join ChinaNetCloud Network Operations Center(AR) team for an exciting opportunity to play a key role in
maintaining customer server architecture and Applicatio. The NOC Tech position plays an important roll in
providing customers with excellent service. This positions reports to the NOC Team Leader.
As a Monitoring Engineer, you are responsible for keep all our customer systems up and running with highest
performance, on 24x7 rotate basis.
•Monitor servers and network against downtime, low performance and security threats
•Respond to system alerts pro-actively
•Answer customer technical questions, via email, IM or Phone
•Escalate incidences if necessary
•Maintain procedure and knowledge repository (Wiki) & and report mistakes or errors to Team Lead /
Management
•perform server / network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose server / network problems
•Assist Middle / Senior engineers on emergencies and system maintenances
•Assist with the development and updating of security measures on computer servers and network
•perform maintenance procedures as required
Position Qualifications:
•Must be able to work on 24x7 shift
•Bachelor’s degree is not required but preferred
•At least 1 year of relevant work experience is required
•Strong Linux Background
•Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
•Experience with the network and web protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, SSH is preferred
•Understanding of the following concepts:
•Load Balancer
•Web Server
•Database Servers
•A self-starter
•Attention to detail
•Team Player
•Ability to manage a work flow
•Ability to communicate clearly (English/Chinese)
