你找找有Makefile文件吗？

要分开写的。

最好看看包里的readme或者install说明文件。

没有makeinstall这条命令，是make install
而且你makefile都没。你怎么继续？

不求最新的话， CentOS 5.4的yum源里有 emacs  21.4-20.el5

要手动编译的话，把需要的头文件装上:
yum -y install libXpm.i386  giflib.i386
然后在configure再make再make install

按提示，装库文件就可以了

你仔细看一下，你在configure的时候就出错了！

要么你把依赖库给装上，再configure试试，要么使用--with-xpm=no --with-gif=no，出错信息提示的很清楚呀。
